Cleaning Up: Dealing With . . . Stuff
Some people think religion is a bunch of . . . stuff. Well of course it is! After all, people are full of it. And we love it, because it's our stuff, and nobody's gonna take it away from us! Right? We love all the petty, annoying, repetitive, meaningless chickenstuff that pops up everywhere - including in your mind - that keeps gumming up the works and covering up what's important. We love the mean, spiteful, vengeful horsestuff that feeds the anger and the endless "ping-pong" matches of conflicts and wars. But most of all, we love the King of All Stuff, Bullstuff, which is everything that just ain't so - and makes up most of our other stuff, too.
Sure, we've all got our stuff, and we love it, but wouldn't it be more kind and better all around to just pull it all out in the sunshine and turn it into fertilizer before we choke on it or dump it on our neighbors? Who knows? Maybe something good will grow!

Opening Up: Going Above & Beyond
Is this all there is? Really? No! It just seems that way because the walls we build to protect us also imprison us. So, get a ladder, climb up, and look over the top. Wow! What a view! Things on our side of the wall look so different from up here! And just look outside at all the other places we can go, and all the other ladders we can climb! Their perspectives may be different, but they all take us to the same place!
Showing Up: How are you?
In a town called Youville, not far from here,
Lived a You named Youzit, full of worry and fear.
He'd hide and he'd shrink, he'd duck and he'd dive,
Never quite feeling fully alive.
But then he decided, "Enough is enough!
I'll Show Up for life, even when it gets tough!"
He stood tall and proud, with his head held high,
Ready to face the Youville sky.
He laughed and he danced, he sang and he played,
No longer afraid of the choices he made.
He listened, he shared, he cared and he grew,
Showing Up fully in all that he'd do.
So remember, dear Yous, as you go on your way,
To Show Up completely in all that you say.
Be present, be true, be authentic, too,
For that's when the light of life shines through!
